You work hard to create the best post, share the best information, videos or pictures. Whatever you share on Facebook is important for you and your followers to stay connected. After all that hard work, the worst thing is the Facebook default setting to prevent your posts from showing in their feeds.
With all the latest changes Facebook has gone thru just in the last year, there are a few settings that have changed. You will need to communicate to your followers if you want them to be up-to-date on your page. I bet many of them will be very happy to know this and stay connected with you and your organization.
By default, Facebook sets your news feeds in “default” mode (shown in the above image). This means people see your feeds in their usual order. Also, your notifications are off – in this mode, your followers are not receiving notifications from you. All of your precious and valuable work is lost in the world of millions of other posts.
What we want to do is let your followers know the proper settings, so they are always informed and receiving your posts every time. Just by changing a few settings, we are going to make your followers very happy.
First, we are going to ask your followers to change the setting in the news feed. Ask them to select “See First,” as you see in the above image. This setting allows your viewers to see the latest post first in chronological order. Next, we need to ask them to change the notification settings from “Off” to “All On.” This new setting will notify your followers on any new post on your page, but there is a limit of 5 posts a day.
Now you are all set! I hope this tip can help you increase your Facebook page visibility, traffic, and engagement.
